Le Monde a Ma Hauteur a son propre site

Enfin, je crée l'association officielle, Le Monde à Ma Hauteur. Son but est d'aider les parents dans toutes sortes de situations difficiles (naissance prématurée, grossesse adolescente, difficultés financières, handicap du parent ou du bébé) à développer un lien fort avec leur bébé par le portage et le peau-à-peau. Nous souhaitons promouvoir la parentalité proximale de façon générale.
L'association, bien que de manière officieuse, agit déjà depuis 18 mois et a offert le prêt d'un porte-bébé à beaucoup de parents et de structures (maternités, PMIs...). Nous ne pouvons faire cela que grâce à la générosité des parents qui nous offrent leurs porte-bébés ergonomiques inutilisés (écharpes, slings, poches, meitais, préformés etc), et des fabricants.

Le Monde a Ma Hauteur has its own website

At long last I am creating the official organization, Le Monde a Ma Hauteur, or "The World at My Height". Its purpose is to help parents in all kinds of difficult situations (premature birth, teenage pregnancy, financial difficulties, handicap of the parent or the baby) to have a strong bond with their baby through babywearing and skin-to-skin. We aim at promoting attachment parenting in general.
The organization, though unofficially, has been in action for 18 months already and has offered the loan of a baby carrier to many parents and structures (maternity units, mother-and-baby health care centers...). We can only do this thanks to the generosity of parents offering us their unused ergonomical carriers (wraps, slings, pouches, meitais, structured carriers etc), and manufacturers.

Un si joli geste

Je ne la nommerai pas mais elle se reconnaitra. S. m'a donné 30 euros pour l'association Le Monde a Ma Hauteur aujourd'hui, aussi je suis allée immédiatement sur Ebay et j'ai acheté une écharpe Didymos de seconde main qui sera offerte à une maman aveugle de l'Institut de Puériculture. Merci énormément S.!!!

Such a nice gesture

I will not name her but she will recognize herself. S. gave me 30 euros for the organization Le Monde a Ma Hauteur today, so I immediately went on Ebay and bought a second-hand Didymos wrap which will go to a blind mom from the Institut de Puericulture. Thank you so much S.!!!

Une nouvelle association

Avec l'aide de quelques bons amis, je suis en train de créer une nouvelle association appelée Le Monde A Ma Hauteur.

Son but est de promouvoir l'accès au portage par des parents dans des circonstances difficiles  (faibles ressources, handicap, prématurité, séparation, grossesse adolescente etc...) en donnant ou en prêtant des porte-bébés ergonomiques -tels que des écharpes, slings, poches, meitais, porte-bébés souples. Vous aurez bientôt accès à notre site web pour faire un don ou demander notre aide.
Les porte-bébés viendront de  dons par des parents qui n'ont plus besoin du leur, par des fabricants (nous avons déjà une liste de fabricants prêts à nous soutenir comme ils l'ont déjà fait pour d'autres projets), par des mamans couseuses; nous utiliserons aussi toute aide financière que nous recevrons pour acheter et expédier des porte-bébés.

A new organization

With the help of a few good friends, I am creating a new organization called Le Monde A Ma Hauteur, which translates as The World At My Level.

Its aim is to promote access to babywearing to parents in difficult circumstances (low resources, handicap, premature birth, separation, teenage pregnancy etc...) by donating or lending ergonomical baby carriers -such as wraps, slings, pouches, meitais, soft-structured carriers. Soon you will have access to our website to donate or request our help.
The carriers will come from donations by parents who no longer need their own carrier, by brands (we already have a list of brands ready to support us as they already have on other projects), by sewing moms; we will also use all the financial help we will receive to buy and send baby carriers.
